In the time span of more than 3 decades, Dirk Serries played several concerts as his alter-ego Vidna Obmana in churches, chapels, caves, and castle ruins. These places were vital partners in creating an atmosphere of serenity, intimacy, and reflection. Often as the case in regular venues the noise of audiences and having a bar present generated a distraction and diminished the strength of that pure deep listening experience. These unique places, however, somehow subconsciously, dictate a different behavior and a focus with the audience that this kind of music cherishes.
